Kim Kardashian's 'Selfish' Book Signing Crashed By Anti-Fur Protesters

While most people who attended Kim Kardashian's 'Selfish' book signing at Barnes & Noble in New York probably just wanted a quick selfie and a chance to come face-to-face with the queen of forward-facing cameras, other attendees wanted to tackle other issues.
The reality TV star's book signing was disrupted partway through when anti-fur protesters made themselves heard, berating Kim for wearing fur coats, for which animals are tortured.

In a video of the incident, things seem to be plodding along nicely, with the 34-year-old signing everyone's books like a pro and thanking her fans for coming along.
However, things take a turn for the not-so-friendly as one 'fan', who is at that point standing in front of Kimmy, suddenly starts shouting at her in protest of her fur-wearing habits.
He says: "You're the most disgusting human being on this planet. Shame on you for supporting the fur industry."

Security staff are quick to try and control the situation, but protesters continue to shout messages such as: "You need to stop wearing fur. Terrible person," with one calling the Kardashian a "murderer."
Another approaches Kim with a book in hand and asks her to "make it out to all the animals that have been tortured and killed for you to wear a fur coat."

But she certainly dealt with the situation in a calm manner, because it can't be fun to have people screaming in your face.
