How to Make an iPad Portfolio

The iPad’s Retina screen is a great way to show off your work. Using Adobe InDesign you can easily create a portfolio that you can load onto an iPad, and it won’t even cost you anything extra!
Whenever we’ve asked designers, few have iPad portfolios, so you can still stand out from the crowd. In this seminar we’ll show you how to use InDesign to design a custom portfolio layout, make it interactive, and load it onto an iPad. We’ll be creating an iPad portfolio, but you can also use other tablets, such as Android.
Join us for a 2-hour seminar. Here are some topics you’ll learn about:
  • How InDesign works with DPS (Adobe’s Digital Publishing Suite) to allow you to publish content to tablets.
  • What you need to get started.
  • What size & resolution you should use.
  • How to build your layouts.
  • How you can easily add interactivity (such as links) to your layouts.
  • How to load your finished portfolio onto an iPad.
This lecture-style seminar is designed for people who have at least a basic understanding of Adobe InDesign. Please note that you will need InDesign CS6 or CC (Creative Cloud) to be able to use the techniques shown in this seminar.

Includes a 25 Page Step-by-Step Instruction Guide

Attendees get an exercise booklet that walks you step by step through the concepts shown in this seminar. All the instructions are written out for you, so you will be able to create the portfolio we show in the video above!
